PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS AS PART OF POLYPREDICATIVE PARATACTIC SENTENCE WITH REPETITIVE COPULATIVE RELATIONS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MODERN ENGLISH LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The purpose of this article is to reveal the specificity of the functioning peculiarities of phraseological units in the structure of polypredicative paratactic constructions with repetitive copulative connections. Syntactic environment is considered as an area of realization of phraseological units in polypredicative sentences with parataxis in the modern English language. The authors analyze the paratactic connections of polypredicative sentence and find out how phraseological units in its structure affect the main function of parataxis.
