ON THE ISSUE OF PRINCIPLES OF COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE VOCABULARY OF THE SLAVONIC LANGUAGES (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE RUSSIAN AND BULGARIAN VERBS OF VISUAL PERCEPTION)

Abstract. The article examines the basic principles of comparative analysis of the Slavonic languages, connected with the determination of formal and semantic equivalence of lexical units. The verbs of visual perception in the Russian and Bulgarian languages, classified according to the semes of purposefulness / lack of purposefulness, activity / inactivity, causativity / non-causativity, act as the factual base for the research. The authors come to the conclusion that subject to the coincidence of basic meanings of the verbs under study the uniqueness of their secondary lexico-semantic variants and also the difference in realization of a number of semantic models are observed.
