CONNOTATIONAL EMOTIONAL AND VALUE COMPONENT OF THE LEXEMES ВАТАН AND HOMELAND IN THE TATAR AND ENGLISH LINGUO-CULTURES

Abstract. Modern linguistics focuses on studying language from the viewpoint of national and cultural component accumulated mostly in the vocabulary. The paper which is executed within this trend analyzes the conception Homeland universal for any ethnical culture. Relying on the free associative experiment findings the authors identify connotational, emotional and value component of the lexemes "ватан" (native land) and "homeland" which allows representing the hierarchy of values and preferences of the Tatar and English linguo-culture bearers.
