Abstract. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of usage of author’s neologisms in the context of a technical text and complexities of translation of their meanings. The attention is focused on the difficulties, occurring while translating the author’s neologisms in the technical texts, and also on the certain types of neologisms and means of the formation of neologisms, accepted in the scientific and technical language in the international professional environment in the world.
