WAYS OF REPRESENTING APPRAISAL IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article deals with the ways of the appraisal category representation in the Russian language by the material of T. V. Ustinova’s detective novel "My Personal Enemy". As the means of expressing appraisal meaning intonation, graphical, word formative and lexical units containing the semes of appraisal are analyzed. Particular attention is drawn to the lexical way of appraisal expression. The author illustrates the classification of appraisal vocabulary used in science.
