THE CLASSIFICATION OF VERBAL DECORATIONS IN N. S. GUMILYOV’S PLAYS FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF SEMANTICS

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the semantic meaning of verbal decorations in N. S. Gumilyov’s plays. The author proposes the classification of verbal decorations according to semantic criterion which allows differentiating verbal decorations, remarks, verbal descriptions (images). The proposed classification shows the verbal decorations’ semantic diversity allowing the author to identify the most frequent and rare meanings. The understanding of verbal decorations’ semantic essence allows concluding on their functional peculiarities.
