THE NOTION OF "ARCHETYPE" AND THE OB-UGRIANS’ MYTHOLOGY: THEORETICAL ASPECT

Abstract. The article deals with the theoretical aspect of analysis of Ob Ugrians’ mythological heritage. The authors substantiate the position that literary archetype is a model of creative development, and its research involves the restoration of original sample, which will preserve the foundations of the Khanty and Mansi culture, to create the conditions under which its representatives would be able to self-identify.
