THE PECULIATITIES OF COUNT FERN?N GONZ?LEZ’S IMAGE AS A CHARACTER OF THE MEDIEVAL SPANISH ROMANCES

Abstract. This article discusses the peculiarities of Count Fernan Gonzalez’s image as a character of the medieval Spanish romances. It is stated that the creation of main character’s image is realized with help of such methods as the use of epithets, characteristic of the character through action and through deed, emotions and words (dialogue). All this makes Fernan Gonzalez’s image many-sided, shown in different perspectives.
