Abstract. In the article the author examines the features of the national-artistic singularity of N. Rubtsov’s lyrics and the Russian poet of Mordovia A. Terent’ev’s poetry in the comparative aspect. Singling out individual and typological features of their lyrical works, the author comes to the conclusion that imagery, many of the themes and motives of their lyrics have much in common, create a unique artistic and aesthetic unity, that is largely due to the poets’ national-artistic world view.
