CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN METHODOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF N. G. RUBINSTEIN’S PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY (DEDICATED TO THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF MOSCOW CONSERVATORY)

Abstract. The article considers pedagogical principles, ideas and approaches to teaching professional performing art of Moscow Conservatory founder Nikolai Grigoryevich Rubinstein, who was not only a brilliant pianist, an outstanding teacher, but also a major public figure in the history of the Russian musical culture of the XIX century. Special attention is paid to identifying the methodlogical peculiarities of the pedagogical activity of the artist, who laid traditions not only in the field of piano performing art, but also in the formation of the national pedagogical school.
