THE PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF FUTURE POWER ENGINEERS’ GENERAL CULTURAL COMPETENCES FORMATION IN THE COURSE OF STUDYING THE DISCIPLINES OF SOCIAL AND HUMANITARIAN DIRECTION

Abstract. The article considers the problem of general cultural competences formation of technical higher educational institutions students in teaching the disciplines of a social and humanitarian profile. The author determines the pedagogical conditions contributing to the formation of general cultural competences of future power engineering students in the process of teaching the discipline "History". It is shown that the self-organization of students and their ability to self-examination, classroom and independent work increase the formation of general cultural competences.
