THE GEOGRAPHIC SERVICE GOOGLE MAPS AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF PROJECT METHOD

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of interactive approach implementation in teaching foreign languages. An attempt of applying the geographic service Google Maps in classes of the German language at Dagestan State University within the framework of students’ project activity is presented. The author concludes that the development and application of Google Maps significantly increase the efficiency of teaching a foreign language, and determines the linguo-didactic functions of the geoservice.
