GENITIVE PREPOSITIONS BY THE MATERIAL OF THE GERMAN PERIODICAL PRESS DISCOURSE

Abstract. The article examines the use of Genitive prepositions in the modern German language by the material of periodical press. The relevance of the research is conditioned by the necessity to study this phenomenon since the Genitive in the German language is governed by the secondary prepositions which are unstable and capable to change their governance due to German language development. The scientific originality of the paper lies in the fact that it aims to examine the prepositions governing the Genitive and the prepositions which can be used both with Dative and Accusative by the material of periodical press.
