INFLUENCE OF PREVIOUSLY STUDIED FOREIGN LANGUAGES ON SOME MISTAKES MADE BY CHINESE STUDENTS WHILE LEARNING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the consideration of errors made by the Chinese students-philologists in their Russian speech. Taking into account that the source of the incorrect use of a language unit or a form may be both its ignorance by learners as a new phenomenon in the studied language and interlingual interference, the latter is thoroughly examined focusing on the investigation of the impact of already known foreign language by students (in our case English) on mastering of a new one. The analysis of mistakes makes it possible to observe this influence on the morphological, syntactic, lexical and phonetic language levels and in the field of orthography and punctuation as well.
