GENRE OF CRITICAL PARALLEL IN THE LITERARY CRITICISM OF THE RUSSIAN FOREIGN COUNTRIES OF THE FAR EAST (BY THE MATERIAL OF VS. N. IVANOV’S CREATIVITY)

Abstract. In the article on the basis of the new, unexplored by domestic literary criticism factual material the author considers the specificity of the genre of critical parallel as an independent genre of literary-artistic criticism by the example of the comparative analysis of the ideological and artistic content of the works by Anton Chekhov ("The Cherry Orchard") and John Galsworthy ("The Skin Game"), represented in the article of the famous writer and critic of the Russian Foreign Countries of the Far East Vs. N. Ivanov "Two Struggles for The Cherry Orchard".
