LITERARY NONSENSE AND RELATED CONCEPTIONS

Abstract. The article examines literary nonsense and related conceptions: absurdity, nonsense and grotesque which, using the similar techniques, pursue different purposes. Domestic literary criticism does not provide clear differentiation of these phenomena which often causes confusion and indicates no unified theoretical basis in relation to literary nonsense.
