ETHNOCULTURAL SYMBOLISM OF NUMBERS IN THE LANGUAGE OF BASHKIR FOLKLORE

Abstract. The article examines the sacral numbers of the Bashkir people, which function actively in the language of folklore. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the symbolic meanings of numbers bearing ethnocultural semantics. Numbers in folk art denote national peculiarities of world perception and worldview of the Bashkir. By the example of texts of folk art the classification of the most stable numeric attributes in the folklore language according to their functions in the text is given.
