WORLDVIEW OF LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY AND ITS ROLE IN VERBAL AND COGITATIVE ACTIVITY

Abstract. The article studies the issue of the language structure influence on the representation of the speaker’s worldview, and examines positions of scientists concerning the role of language worldview in speech production. Worldview is analyzed as an integral, but many-sided notion, its structural components are determined, the most important of which is mental intention. The paper also considers the notion of language modality - reveals close connection of this language category and the language universal with the process of worldview interpretation in verbal and cogitative activity.
