IDEOLOGICAL PECULIARITY OF THE EARLY STORIES BY S. T. SLAVUTINSKY

Abstract. The article provides an analysis of the ideological content of the certain early stories by S. T. Slavutinsky, Ryazan novelist of the XIX century. The paper analyzes the influence of the typical tendencies of a literary process of this period on the texts and characterizes the peculiarities of expressing the author’s view. The researcher concludes that, according to Slavutinsky, the socio-economic problems of the Russian society should be solved not by changing the life conditions and formation of a new personal psychology but by appealing for the traditional spiritual and moral values.
