THE PERCEPTION PARADOXES OF BILINGUAL’S LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of the peculiarities of perception by English and Russian auditors of the bilinguals, who have learned the English language in the classroom without direct contacts with the native speakers. The author describes the material, the methods and the results of the three series of experiments. The received experimental data extend the ideas about the peculiarities of social perception of the representatives of different linguocultures and supplement the theory of personal identification according to voice and speech with new information.
