THE TRANSFER OF IMPLICITNESS IN THE TRANSLATION OF OPENING AND CONCLUDING SENTENCES (BY THE MATERIAL OF BUSINESS LETTERS IN THE GERMAN AND UKRAINIAN LANGUAGES)

Abstract. In the article the notion of implicitness and its categorical apparatus is characterized, the peculiarities of the functioning of implicit information according to the purpose of communication and taking into account the factor of the addressee are considered. The author also analyzes the main strategies and ways of transfer of implicitness in the translation of opening and concluding sentences during the comparative analysis of the texts of business letters in the German and Ukrainian languages.
