THE EXPERIENCE OF DISTANT FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING OF STUDENTS OF NONLINGUISTIC SPECIALTIES

Abstract. In the article the experience of two Rostov higher education establishments of introduction of distance learning elements in the practice of the English language teaching is presented. The role of the use of computer technology and Internet resources in the development of foreign language communicative competence and formation of students' self-guided work skills is shown. The advantages and disadvantages of distant foreign language teaching technology are discussed.
