GENDER SPECIFICS OF PERCEIVING PARALINGUISTIC MEANS OF A SYNTAGMATIC TEXT

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of phonetic perception of the modern fiction in the gender aspect. The researcher chose for the analysis the fragment from the novel "The Diamond Chariot" by B. Akunin whose prose is the striking example of the modern syntagmatic prose. The paper provides comparative analysis of the experiment results and presents statistical data on the peculiarities of phonetic segmentation of the suggested text by the respondents.
