THE PROBLEMS OF THE SINGLE INFORMATION SPACE FORMATION IN THE CIS COUNTRIES

Abstract. This work is devoted to the single information space of the CIS countries and the problems of its formation. In the article the structure of the single information space is described and analyzed, its boundaries, components, functions and characteristics are revealed. The process of transformation and formation of the fundamentally new information space has been considered in the dynamics. The complete analysis of the status of the Russian language in the CIS countries is carried out, the legislative acts in this area as well as the activities of States in this direction are reviewed. The aim of the article is to conduct the structural and functional analysis of the single information space of the CIS countries, to describe its structure, functions, characteristics, and the processes of its formation and development.
