LANGUAGE GAME AS FORM OF LINGUISTIC CREATIVITY MANIFESTATION

Abstract. The article reveals the notion of the language game as a form of linguistic creativity manifestation and the creation of conditions for the development of students’ creative abilities. The manifestation of these skills is the formation of new words and the willingness to choose the stylistic devices. The author pays attention to the types of the language game, its functions, and emphasizes that the effect produced by the language game depends on the level of recipient’s linguistic culture.
