"RUSLAN AND LUDMILA" BY A. S. PUSHKIN: FOLKLORISTIC COMMENTARY. EIDOLOGY OF THE "OTHER KINGDOM": CANTOS FOURTH, FIFTH AND SIXTH

Abstract. The article examines the poetics of "Ruslan and Ludmila" by A. S. Pushkin in the light of folkloric tradition. Cantos fourth, fifth and sixth of the poem-tale are under research. These very cantos reveal the meaning of the initiation way of the characters, actualize the motive of a journey to the "other world". The special attention is paid to the travesty symbolics. Analyzing the poem-tale in the light of folkloric tradition of pre-genre formations allows identifying the ontological symbolics of a literary work.
