Abstract. The article examines the evolution of the design of advertising in the children’s magazines. The author analyzes a large amount of empiric material with a view to study this insufficiently investigated problem. Relying on the findings the researcher identifies the peculiarities of the design of an efficient advertising associated with the target audience: brightness of colour style, prevalence of visual form, game component, role of personages and formation of advertising as a part of media-text.
