VELIMIR KHLEBNIKOV AND CYCLIC VIEW ON HISTORY IN THE POEM "PERSIAN OAK"

Abstract. The article considers the conception of Velimir Khlebnikov about the repeatability of historical events in the poem "Persian Oak", which to some extent corresponds to the beliefs of Mazda-adherents (Zoroastrians) about the cyclic view on history. The Russian poet pursues in "Persian Oak" a certain well-defined aim: to tell about the past, so that it could affect the future. In fact, from the point of view of V. Khlebnikov the reference to events in the past gives us the opportunity to achieve a unique model for the present world order, and in a broader sense - for the future.
