Abstract. In the comparative terms the Yukagir myth about the flood, written at the end of the XX century, and widely presented variants of myths in the folklore of the Chinese are examined. The analysis of the Yukagir text has shown its late conversion from the Christian positions. The structure of the first part of the myth and the presence of particular sign elements (raft, mountain) have shown the inclination of the Yukagir text to one of the early Chinese legends about the flood.
