DIFFERENCE OF JOINING SEMANTICS FROM SEMANTICS OF OTHER TYPES OF SYNTACTIC LINK

Abstract. The article is aimed at determining the key differences of joining semantics from the semantics of other types of syntactic link. Currently linguists pay considerable attention to the specificity of joining link, basing on the significant components of the semantic structure of joined components. However, the specificity of a particular linguistic phenomenon is determined not only by the presence of any signs, but by the lack of such signs with respect to other linguistic phenomena. That is what we pay special attention to in the article.
