IMAGES AND GUISES OF THE RUSSIAN REVOLT IN THE POETICAL WORKSHOP BY MAXIMILIAN VOLOSHIN. "ARCHPRIEST AVVAKUM"

Abstract. The article analyzes the search for the images and guises of the Russian history implemented in the poetical workshop of the Russian thinker of the Silver Age Maximilian Voloshin who may be considered a chronicler of the Russian revolt and civil war. The special attention is paid to the poem "Archpriest Avvakum" which brilliantly portrayed the images of Russian history. An image, in Voloshin’s interpretation, can bear both light and dark element. This antinomy embodies the images of Russian history.
