TEMPORALITY AS A BASIC TEXTUAL CATEGORY OF THE HOROSCOPE GENRE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE GERMAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article examines the textual category of temporality by the example of a horoscope. Horoscope is investigated as one of the genres of the prognostic discourse characterized by the orientation into the future; the author analyzes the tense forms participating in the formation of a category of temporality of a horoscope the structure of which is represented in the form of a field with the highlighted central area, intermediate area and periphery. Linguistic means are systematized from the viewpoint of their affiliation to a certain area.
