M. AVDEEV ON THE PROBLEM OF IMAGE OF HERO IN LITERATURE

Abstract. The article examines the peculiarities of addressing the problem of modern hero in literary and critical essays by M. V. Avdeev. Analyzing the specifics of images the author of the essays argues for the only reliable way to identify the value of hero - through the lenses of existence; only time will detect his/her viability. M. V. Avdeev for the first time aimed to examine the value of hero in historical and functional aspect.
