HYPER-TEXTUAL RELATIONS OF THE LEXEME MOTHER AND ITS SEMANTICS

Abstract. The article examines the basic (registered in the dictionaries) and contextual (actualized in the hyper-textual space) semantic features of the English lexeme mother, identifies the relations between the basic and contextual semes. By the example of the mentioned lexeme the authors analyze the specifics of extension and complication of the word semantics in macro-context with uncertain borders. The paper focuses on the hyper-textual relations between the contexts of realization of the certain semantic features and on the problem of creating the individual conception of a user on the semantic structure of a linguistic unit.
