"NEW SENSITIVE TRAVELER OR MY WALK IN A**": THE SPECIFICITY OF NARRATIVE STRUCTURE OF TRAVELOGUE

Abstract. In the article the genre and composition peculiarities of the anonymous travelogue "New Sensitive Traveler or My Walk in A**" are analyzed. It is shown that the text corresponds to the tradition of sentimental travel literature, has stable structure of diary type, the core element of which is itinerary. It is grounded that the linearity of the narration is complicated by expletive narratives, the author’s assessment is expressed explicitly, and in the final fragment of the travelogue the device of space mythologization is used.
