COMPLETION OF STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY WITH WORDS - COLOUR NAMES IN LESSONS OF SPEECH CULTURE

Abstract. The article reveals the specific techniques of enriching students’ vocabulary with words - colour names basing on the analysis of the works of M. M. Prishvin. The authors substantiate the fact that one of the most effective types of vocabulary enrichment is the analysis of the text with the aim to identify the meanings of words. The analytical work on clarifying the meanings of words helps students in the formation of linguistic intuition, expansion of linguistic horizons, enriching the vocabulary.
