ONE MESSAGE OF V. A. ZHUKOVSKY TO A. A. PLESHCHEEV: ON THE RUSSIAN-FRENCH DIGLOSSIA OF THE FIRST THIRD OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article discusses the French source of V. A. Zhukovsky’s poetic messages to A. A. Pleshcheyev "Message to Pleshcheyev. On the day of Easter Sunday". The author reveals the French-speaking nature of Zhukovsky’s text and comes to the conclusion about the substrative function of the French language in the formal-semantic and linguistic embodiment of the poet’s Russian poem in the conditions of the Russian-French diglossia in the first third of the XIX century.
