THE METHODS OF SELECTION OF BASIC LINGUOCULTURAL UNITS FOCUSED ON CROSS-CULTURAL COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article is devoted to the issues of selection of basic knowledge for cross-cultural communication. Selection criteria are necessary for the appropriate choice of basic linguocultural knowledge and the inclusion of the linguistic unit for the obligatory learning by trainees. The author suggests the ones which will allow selecting an adequate but essential number of units which reflect the worldview of the formed cultural community and permit communicating adequately with its representatives .
