Abstract. The article deals with the typology of professional railway discourse by the example of the German language. The factors of communication subject and communication regulations are proposed as the basis for singling out of the types. Separately by the examples the author shows some peculiarities of oral regulated communication of German railway employees, in particular, the violation of the language regulation conditioned by the psycho-emotional state of subjects which entails the specific selection of lexical units.
