ON THE PRINCIPLES OF PLOT-FORMATION IN THE AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL SERIES OF S. T. AKSAKOV AND L. N. TOLSTOY

Abstract. In the article the autobiographical series of S. T. Aksakov and L. N. Tolstoy in terms of plot-formation and embodiment of the ways of "artistic self-objectivization" are considered. The biography of S. T. Aksakov is based on the personal self-discovery, not on the principles of "creative memory" and "children's identity" of the narration. In L. N. Tolstoy’s autobiography the method of profound psychologism prevails. S. T. Aksakov masters the autobiographical forms where the deep connections of the human "I" with the cultural heritage of the nation are analyzed.
