SEMIOTICS OF CORPORATE SPIRIT IN THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY DISCURSIVE SPACE

Abstract. The article deals with the issue of semiotic embodiment of corporate spirit in the American university discursive space. The author focuses on the study of different types of signs that form the ideological basis of A & M University in the city of College Station (Texas). On the basis of this analysis the linguistic and semiotic peculiarities of the corporate culture of the university are revealed.
