THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE METHODS OF LISTENING SKILLS CONTROL IN THE USA IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. In the article the results of the study of the language listening tests evolution in the second half of the XX century in the USA are presented. The retrospective analysis is of interest due to the fact that it allows understanding deeper the current state of the problem of the objective control of the foreign speech listening comprehension and gives the possibility for the researchers to find the shortest path to the problem solution of the auditive tests further improvement on the basis of the previous experience and accumulated knowledge.
