GENRE OF A REPORTAGE IN THE FRENCH MILITARY PERIODICALS (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE MAGAZINE "TERRE INFORMATION MAGAZINE")

Abstract. The article examines the magazine "Terre Information Magazine" meant for the military men of the divisions of the French Army from the viewpoint of genre peculiarities of the included texts. Such investigations previously were conducted only by the material of the English military periodicals. The author concludes that information genres prevail in this publication and dominating communicative strategy is the strategy of informing. The special attention is paid to the analysis of the most frequent genre - reportage on the military exercises.
