Abstract. The article examines linguo-diagnostic, educational and correctional potential of the method of structuring the lexico-semantic field at the Russian lessons in the secondary school which represents comprehensive approach in the educational and methodical activity of a teacher and promotes the formation of lexical competences of the students.
