TRADITIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF AN ENGLISH FAIRY TALE

Abstract. The article reveals the genetic relationship of a folkloric fairy tale and a myth. English fairy tale finds its continuation and development in the modern texts of different genres which were not previously the representatives of a fabulous and fancy picture of the world. According to the principles of evolutional development an English fairy tale continues in such genres of a fiction as fantasy, science fiction, fabulous and fancy love-story novels, thrillers and detective stories. Objective laws of developing fairy tale influenced the penetration of a fabulous and fancy picture of the world into the non-artistic communication: anecdotes, advertising and marriage advertisements.
