Abstract. In the study the question of integration of disciplines of a philological area - the Russian language and a foreign (English) language, is examined. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature on the theme under consideration is presented, which allows stating that the problem of co-learning of languages remains little-studied. The author attempts to systematize the existing information and suggests a number of methodological foundations on the basis of which it is possible to implement an integrated teaching of the Russian and English languages.
