THE LEXICOGRAPHIC ASPECT OF THE YAKUT AND KHAKASS HOMONYMS К?Л (К?Л)

Abstract. The article aims at studying the lexical and semantic similarities and differences of the Khakass and Yakut homonyms к?л (к?л) by means of the comparative and historical analysis. As the result of the analysis the author identifies that the Yakut and Khakass homonyms к?л and к?л have lexical and semantic parallels in the Old Turkic and some other Turkic languages, and the semantics ‘ashes’ of these lexemes corresponds to the archetype * кул ‘ashes’ of the Turkic parent language.
