THE COMMUNICATIVE AND FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF REPRODUCTIVE TEXTS-DESCRIPTIONS OF THE OBJECT CREATED DURING DIRECT OBSERVATION

Abstract. The basic provisions of communicative-functional approach have been formulated mainly by the material of literary texts. In the article the author analyzes the typical meaning of sentences and rhematic dominants in the texts of a different type - texts-descriptions of the object created by the speaker on the basis of direct observation. The analysis shows that the composition of these texts includes the sentences with a typical meaning of quality and quantity, which combining into the fragments form the qualitative and quantitative rhematic dominants.
