Abstract. The article examines the interconnection of antonymy and synonymy of the Tatar language, considers two types of connection - radial and linear ones that exist between words of two synonymic rows, joining the antonymic relationship. The author analyzes the criteria of antonyms and synonyms interaction, shows the manifestations of systemic relations in the lexis.
