ON THE CORRELATION OF SEMANTICS AND PRAGMATICS: OCCASIONALISMS AS PRAGMA-SEMANTIC CONVERSIVES

Abstract. The article presents the different views on the problem of correlation of semantics and pragmatics. The author shares the view on the interrelation of semantics and pragmatics and believes that the penetration of pragmatics into the semantics results in the "shadowing" of a semantic meaning and formation of pragma-semantic conversives. The special attention is paid to F. Darr’s author’s occasionalisms as one of the forms of pragma-semantic conversives.
